No time on Earth is long enough to share with the animals we love, or prepare our hearts to say goodbye.”

In Memory of Moby
Moby Dick, the Great White Westie, left this world on October 18th, 2024.
Moby’s hobbies included:
- Eating
- Setting off home security motion sensors by vaulting over the couch
- Howling his own version of “Nobody Knows The Trouble I’ve Seen”
- Tripping people
- Humping the decorative pillows in the bay window while making creepy unbreaking eye contact with the mailman
He was loyal, loving, patient, and protective. Moby wholeheartedly loved his kids. Even when they were ear-pulling toddlers, the kids were his funny looking puppies. When the oldest started kindergarten, Moby hatched a plan to go with her. He snuck out of the yard, hid in the bushes by the bus stop, jumped out at the opportune moment, and ran up the school bus steps before anyone could stop him. His embarrassed mom had to board the bus and retrieve him. He took his parental responsibilities seriously.
All West Highland White Terriers are a little bit extra. But Moby had a big personality, even by Westie standards. His antics kept everyone’s blood pressure high for 16 years. He will be missed by his family, friends, neighbors, and maybe even the mailman.
Rest in peace, MoMo. Thanks for the laughs, buddy.

In Memory of Blue
Blue was the most special rabbit. We always called him our grumpy old man or our little rain cloud because he was a feisty and grumpy little guy. He was so funny and just had the best personality. I’ll never forget his little grunts whenever he would get excited to see us or get his favorite food or treats. He was a curious little fella and would always be trying to get into mischief. He was timid around new people; but loved his family the most. He would jump on the couch next to us to get snuggles or pets, but always on his own terms. He brought so much joy to our lives for over 6 years and will be leaving a Bluey size hole in our hearts.
Love you forever little monkey.

In Memory of Midge
Midge was magical.
Although she never once barked, took her “walks” in a stroller and slept most of her life, she brought such joy in her 13 years.
For not doing much, she was a complete goof ball. We miss her like crazy and still talk to her and laugh at her every day! She had a large fan club that talks about her all the time. She would come to work with me where my colleagues would literally lie down on the floor with her. There was something very spiritual about her quiet presence. But her snoring was epic as well!!!
We love you Midge.

In Memory of Allie
We lost our Allie to lymphoma in early Dec 2022. It was a very sad day. We adopted Allie from the Humane Society when she was one year old. We were fortunate enough to have her with us for 9 years.
Allie was a beautiful cat, small in stature but big in heart! She could be mischievous but was also very sweet. She loved car rides and looking out the window as we drove in the neighborhoods. Allie would also walk right into the cat carrier when we would bring it out as if anticipating a trip!
She was such a happy cat. Allie would race us to the kitchen and madly scratch on her scratching pad. She would greet us at the door when we would come home, and purr as soon as we picked her up. She looked like she always had a smile on her face. Allie would be curled on the end of our bed every night at bedtime, and at times would come up and snuggle next to us during the night. She loved being where we were. We miss her every day.

In Memory of Stella
Stella was my best friend.
She followed me around day & night–I was never out of her sight. She would watch me work from home from the nearest chair or sun-spot.
She had many “babies”, but her sheep (Baaab) was her beloved!
Her favorite place was at the lake. She found joy in shredding sticks, and was absolutely in her “happy place” on the boat!
Stella was friendly & gentle–she made friends with all she came in contact with!
She was known for her Guinness collar.
She loved visiting her friends at South Hyland–and she was there a lot!

In Memory of Ike
Ike had so many unique quirks. From being an avid soccer player who was unbeatable on defense to chasing airplanes and barking if you took out your cell phone on walks, to an obsession with stainless steel bowls that he’d flip over and run and chase like a hockey puck. Many a kid was entertained by his ability to dig on command. And unlike many terriers, he enjoyed swimming with his life jacket on. He loved his family and was the best dog we could have ever asked for. A constant companion on walks and hikes, he made every day better. He greeted his family with a wagging tail, and hugs and kisses. And every family member had a purpose: playing, cuddling, walking, exploring. He was a dog for every season from digging in the snow, chasing water in the summer, and diving into leaf piles in the fall. His dream was to catch a squirrel, but the best he could do was kill a couple of snakes, to his owner’s delight! We miss him terribly but know he’s enjoying all the neighbor dogs that greeted him in heaven. RIP dearest Ike ♥
