Behavioral Counseling

Ensuring the well-being of your beloved pet goes beyond physical health – their behavioral health is just as crucial. If you find yourself worried about your pet’s behavior, rest assured that our dedicated staff and experienced doctors are here to assist you. Whether your dog, cat, or pocket pet exhibits fear or anxiety in specific situations, or if there are certain behaviors you’d like to address, we have team members with a special interest in animal behavior.

At our veterinary clinic, we take pride in having skilled professionals with a focus on dog, cat, and pocket pet behavior. Among our staff, we have a Certified Dog Trainer and Counselor, as well as a Licensed Family Paws Educator. Emphasizing the importance of positive and compassionate training techniques, we exclusively advocate force-free, reward-based, and science-backed methods.

Our commitment to your pet’s well-being is further strengthened by adhering to the esteemed guidelines set by the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB). The AVSAB consists of veterinarians with advanced training in the study of animal behavior, providing valuable guidance on various topics – from puppy socialization to humane dog training.
